Congratulations, your website is now live.

Today’s the day – my brand-new website is officially live! And here’s a fun twist: it’s 9 December 2025. The number nine has always been my favourite, and although I didn’t plan it, the launch landed on a nine all by itself. I’m taking that as a good sign.

For a while now, I’ve known my old website needed more than a touch-up. The design dated back to 2019, and although I had updated bits and pieces along the way, it no longer reflected what my business was about (as I hinted in my post before the summer). So, what’s changed?

A new home on the web

I have moved away from WordPress and embarked on a new journey with Squarespace. Why? I had heard a lot of good things and last month I took part in three online workshops with VISP, a resource and networking organisation for the visual arts here in Norway (I'm a member, check them out!). Their courses gave me the confidence to dive straight in. They are freely available in Norwegian on their YouTube channel.

The transition wasn’t without overwhelm, but learning by doing has always been my thing. Once I got started, I kept going, step by step, until the new site began to take shape.

Rethinking, refocusing, realigning

Before getting my hands in the dirt and playing with Squarespace, I stepped back and rethought the foundation of my business. I re-outlined my services, rewrote every page, and asked trusted people in my network for honest feedback. I browsed inspiring websites and reflected on what I most want to offer.

When I asked myself this summer what I really wanted to focus on, the answer was simple: writing. Working with words lights me up.

I have narrowed in my offer to focus on these four pillars:

  1. Writing & copywriting

  2. Copy-editing & proofreading

  3. Translation (a later addition — three languages are too valuable a tool not to use!)

  4. Photography (I tried to imagine removing this… but passion won.)

Alongside my services, I’m continuing to develop my creative writing, nature photography, and architectural photography projects. I’m also open to professional photography assignments or selling prints of my work.

Who I want to work with

This has always been a harder question for me to answer because my interests and professional experiences are broad. But narrowing my services helped me see the answer more clearly. I’m now focusing on projects connected to environment and conservation, the place where my academic background aligns with my personal passion.

I’m also excited to support organisations and companies with improving their recruitment web pages. Clear, thoughtful recruitment content creates meaningful impact on both sides of the hiring process, and it’s an area I’d love to contribute to more.

Your turn

Please explore my new website and tell me what you think. Does it reflect who I am and what I offer? Does it resonate?

And who knows, perhaps it sparks an idea for a collaboration.

Thanks for being here. This new chapter feels like the right one, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
